Our client asked us the usual question: how can we prevent users from making mistakes in the system? Although we can’t alter the way the platform works, we found a solution: implement predefined flows so that employees follow the guidelines set by the company.
The Solution: A Custom Quality Control Field
We created a custom report called “Shipment Quality Control by Master” for our client. This report grouped shipments by “Master”, showing errors specific to each House. This allowed the client to identify and correct potential problems before they became costly shipping errors.
Example: Identifying Errors in Shipments
In the report, we highlighted simple errors, such as a missing Billing Client email, as well as more complex problems, such as a missing country in a Destination Agent party in a shipment. We show how the report provides a detailed view of each error, allowing for quick and accurate correction.
Result: Prevention of Costly Errors
Thanks to this solution, our client was able to avoid costly errors, such as shipping cargo to the wrong country. By identifying and correcting problems prior to shipment, risks were minimized and operational efficiency improved.
